Dearest Paula,
Thank you so much for all your help, wisdom, advice and patience as Jonathan and I planned our wedding…Our reception was like a dream and we have you to thank for it. All your attention to detail when we planned the schedule really paid off BIG on the actual night…People are still talking about how great our band was! I had the time of my life dancing the night away with my new husband!
MJ, wedding at the Palace Hotel, San Francisco, CA

The band Swing Fever was formed in 1978 by Bryan Gould its leader, who then opened an office for the purpose of booking the band. Through the years we began to include other bands and musicians, playing other styles of music. Each band was carefully screened for its musical quality and reliability. This endeavor slowly grew and in 1990 that part of our small musical booking company got a new name, band-booking.com. We book the great Swing Fever (swing era jazz band) and classical, jazz, Latin, rock and variety bands, soloists and duos – almost any style of music.

Bryan Gould has performed at more than 1500 events and weddings. Paula Helene has performed at more than 500 events and weddings. We really understand coordinating music for events.

We pride ourselves on the attention we give our clients, not only helping select the right band but also staying with the client every step of the way to ensure the success of the event.

The process begins with trying to understand your vision and your budgetary concerns, then sending CDs or MP3s of musical groups that may fulfill your dream.

We have enjoyed long relationships with the professional musical groups we book, and each has outstanding proven musical quality and reliability.

Meanwhile, the band Swing Fever, still the flagship of the organization, plays more than 400 events yearly, including concert tours and jazz festivals. The band has made three CD’s, two of them with the famed Duke Ellington trumpeter, Clark Terry.

Bryan Gould has been the owner, trombonist, vocalist and bandleader of Swing Fever for 33 years, a period that has seen the band grow to prominence in the jazz world, as well as becoming one of the most continual musical organizations in America, making a steady income for its players. Son of a noted writer and showman, Bryan is a San Francisco native whose several careers culminated in the formation of Swing Fever Entertainment in 1978, with the addition of band-booking.com in 2000.
